Some useful tips if you are planning a remodeling project and what to expect from AmPro Builders.

1. Remodeling Creates Dust!
AmPro Builders will take precautions to control construction dust during a home remodeling project but some dust will get through. It is best to remove expensive electronics such as computers, TVs, and stereo equipment from the home during a remodel.

2. Personnel Items.
Please be sure all personal items, valuables, and fragile items be put away or removed from the home during construction. We care about your valuables and want to be sure they are well taken care of during the construction process.

3. Pets During Construction.
Be sure to make arrangements for your pets well being during construction. Adequate food and water, as well as a safe place are essential during construction and if you are away while we are working. Loud noises can frighten pets and send them searching for their owners should they get loose.

4. Storage of Materials and Tools.
Construction activity requires many different materials and tools. It may be necessary to store some of these on the job site. Having tools readily available helps us keep your project on time. We will work with you to find a safe and secure location to store tools that will be as out of the way as possible.

5. Schedule and Work Hours.
We will coordinate with you on when we will start a project and what areas we will be working in. Our day usually starts between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and the construction portion of the day typically ends between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

6. The Unexpected.
Even under the best circumstances, unexpected conditions do arise in remodeling projects. We will identify changes and resolve them as quickly as possible. If there is a cost involved we will not take action without your notification and approval.

7. Your Choices.
AmPro Builders works to select the best quality materials for the job at hand, however, many of the choices in a remodeling project are your domain. In particular; finishes, fixtures, paint colors, as well as tile and grout colors must be chosen by the owner. Having your decisions made on time will help keep your project on time and within your budget.
